Nashville Will Host Its First Super Bowl (in 2030)

May 20, 2026

Nashville, Tennessee is planning something huge: hosting its first-ever Super Bowl. The plan is for the big game to happen in 2030, in a new enclosed stadium built for the Tennessee Titans.

The Super Bowl is the NFL’s championship game, and it brings way more than football. People travel in from many places, hotels and restaurants get extra busy, and TV cameras show off the host city to viewers everywhere.

Cities don’t automatically get to host—NFL team owners vote, and they look for signs a place can handle very large crowds. Nashville has already shown it can welcome lots of fans, like when the city hosted the NFL Draft in 2019. The enclosed stadium is also helpful because it can keep out rain, wind, or cold weather.

When you hear a plan like this, it’s smart to think about both the excitement and the preparation. A city has to organize spaces, schedules, and services so visitors and local families can all have a smooth, safe time.
